Upcoming Virtual Workshops
Register to attend our upcoming virtual workshops where we will share updated information on the project and hear from you about your hopes and dreams for the site!
In Workshop #1, we heard your hopes and dreams for the neighborhood and the park. In Workshop #2, you built the park of your dreams on a map of the project site. In workshop #3, we heard your thoughts on what park amenities you would like to see moved forward in the preferred option. Now, we look forward to visioning and placemaking with you!
The creation of a truly inclusive park is only possible if the needs and dreams of our diverse community are represented throughout the entire project. We need your ideas about how this green space can best serve the needs of Thornton Creek and the Lake City community. Please join Seattle Parks and Recreation, Seattle Public Utilities, and Mid Sound Fisheries Enhancement Group in Workshop #3 to help bring your park to life!
You can also provide online feedback any time at lakecityfloodplainpark.com
Project site address: 2318 NE 125th Street, Seattle, WA 98125

In Workshop #1, we heard your hopes and dreams for both the neighborhood and the park. Now we look forward to hearing your thoughts on how best to weave community-generated park ideas with Thornton Creek restoration and floodplain reconnection goals.
