Site Updates
Demolition of the site’s existing structures is now complete. The temporary bridge crossing will remain in place until final clean up and restoration efforts are finished.
A fence and gate have been installed along NE 125th Street to alleviate safety concerns and ensure that vehicles do not drive through the property.
Upcoming Participation

The team is continuously planning ways to share information about the project and receive feedback on how the community would like to use the space. Please reach out if you have ideas or questions.
Team Progress
The design team has developed conceptual park amenity options based on community input. These options will be presented during Community Workshop #3. The team is excited to get additional feedback on the design progress.
The project team presented to the Seattle Design Commission in November. This Commission advises and assists the City in the development and execution of capital improvement projects. The project heard great feedback and the team will present to the Commission again once the design is further developed.
The project team had a successful presentation to SPR’s Proview, an internal review process for early project development. The review committee expressed shared support for the project.
The project team has been developing a document that creates a guideline for taking the project from conceptual design through construction. The document will be used to update the City’s executive leadership and for approval on our approach for moving the project forward.
